Need to see the after first, the before was pretty bad. Pond in Rhome, Texas, near Decatur.
This guy with a backhoe dug the hole, things went downhill from there. And so it sat for awhile. Photos and work, June - July 2009.
The bog basin idea was sound, but walls not high enough to actually function as bogs. Had to raise the perimeter.
Plants are still a bit young, and it is the heat of Texas summer.
